I believe that life is a journey. Sometimes, our journey leads us to the most wonderful mountain top experiences. On the other hand, our journey can also lead us down into the valley of despair. As part of the human family, I believe we can share with one another these experiences, and through empathy we can help one another get through the difficulties of life, while at the same time giving one another permission to enjoy the beauty that this life has to offer. I want to go on this journey with you.
Over the last 20 years of church ministry, I have taken the journey with many individuals and families. We’ve worked together through difficult marriages, met the challenges of raising children, and provided encouragement during some of the most difficult times of life.
As a counselor, I have experience with pre-marital and marital counseling, family counseling, adolescent and teen counseling; and treatment for depression, anxiety, grief, anger management, addictions, self- harm behaviors, and self-esteem issues.
Neil has an extensive academic background in biblical studies, which allows him the ability to incorporate as much spirituality in session as the client wishes. Additionally, he has a MA in Professional Counseling, and is a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor.
